Where is Malaga?


Málaga, city in Spain,  capital of Málaga province and province of Andalucía.

Málaga city is located at the Mediterranean Sea, has a seaport, high speed train station and airport.

With 568,507 residents in 2010,  Malaga  is the second most populous city of Andalusia and the sixth largest in Spain.

Malaga's history dates back from 700BCC when the Phoenicians from Tyre founded the city as Malaka.

Málaga also is the city of the famous artist Picasso, in the city centre you can visit the Picasso museum, and the house of Picasso.

In the centre of Málaga you will find a large list of shops, restaurants, cafeterias and bars. The main street is called Calle Larios, with famous international stores such as Mex, Mango, Desigual.

Soon Malaga will open its metro station, which will make Malaga even more accessible.
