What is a Taxi?

A taxi, also taxicab or cab, is a type of hire car with a driver, used by a single passenger or small group of passengers often for a non-shared ride.
A taxi transports passengers between locations of their choice. In difference to  public transport, the pick-up and drop-off locations are determined by the passenger.

The prices for a Taxi transport are usually determined in a price list, although sometimes specific prices can be agreed, or you can pay per time or km.

A taxi has to be insured and meet certain requirements regarding safety of the passengers.
